The sea views from the front, south-facing Verandah are hypnotic and magical … this is the perfect retreat in which to unwind and detach from the crazy pace of 24/7 living … to relax, re-energise and refresh.

French Windows lead from the Verandah into the light and airy space of the Living Area which provides relaxed seating, eating and cooking facilities; from here, separate doors take you into either the Double Bedroom or Shower Room, or climb a ladder way up into the eaves to reach a Scandinavian-style Sleeping Loft.

Contemporary style sits with ease alongside traditional comfort and everything you could possibly need is provided and fabulously furnished with an extensive inventory of superb quality equipment.

Relax on the L-shaped sofa or leather tub chair and choose your entertainment … if the vast canvas of sea and sky, or delicious sundowner glass of wine from your complimentary bottle needs embroidery, there’s … a Sound & Vision package (LCD digital TV, Sky Freeview, DVD/CD player, mini-Bose system - includes user-friendly dedicated port for iPhone, iPod or any MP3 player), DVD’s, books, local glossy magazines, games box, Wi-Fi.

And when it’s time for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner … even a hand of cards … the solid beech dining table folds out to comfortably seat 6 guests. French-style bistro tables and chairs adorn the verandah and, in the garden, there’s a BBQ and wooden picnic bench with parasol for al-fresco feasting. Sun-worshippers and star-gazers alike can simply swing their cares away in a pair of traditional rope hammocks slung between trees … or curl up with your book in a canvas deckchair on ‘The Beach’ – a sheltered pebble terrace, privately tucked behind the Posh Shed with sea glimpses to absorb mid-chapter musings – perfect.

The Shower Room oozes beauty with function – tiles that shimmer like sparkling ‘Scillonian’ white sand and a ‘drenching’ shower enclosure with ample space for 2 – ideal for couples or families!

Sleeping wise, there’s room for 4 people: a Double Bedroom and Sleeping Loft with twin singles. All beds are sumptuously dressed with White Company duvets, throws, fine bed linen, pillows, bath sheets, bath towels and hands towels, plus adult bath robes and deep mattress topper in the Double Bedroom (remember to pack your own beach towels!).

And there’s quirky stuff, too, like driftwood art that may inspire you in many different ways …
For your increased comfort the Posh Shed is highly insulated, double glazed and further complemented by thermostat-controlled heating and a heat recovery ventilation system.
