Visit England 4 Stars
1a Southbourne Road, St Austell
PL25 4RU
Langdale House is a superbly presented detached property of character built in 1935 with many of the original features such as the mosaic tiled floor in the entrance vestibule and stained glass windows throughout. During the autumn and winter of 2011, the proprietor, Chris Witt has converted Langdale House to guest house with luxury, en suite, accommodation.
The house is south facing, on the outskirts of St Austell's town centre, enjoying countryside views towards the Pentewan Valley. The pleasant garden is available to guests for their relaxation and enjoyment. Langdale House is an excellent location from which to visit the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the coastal villages and towns such as Charlestown, Mevagissey and Fowey.
Chris Witt has spent most of his career in international business development travelling to many parts of the world, staying in everything from 3 Star family hotels in the UK to 4, 5 & 6 Star properties in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. With his experience as a traveller, you can be sure that he has a good idea of what can be offered in terms of welcome, comfort and style.
All the rooms are very comfortable with good en suite shower facilities and, as we are offering "Bed & Breakfast", we have invested in "Comfort 1000" Beds. You can be assured of a good nights' sleep!
